Kumho Road Hazard Warranty in Saudi Arabia - Terms & Conditions

1. What is the Road Hazard Warranty?

This warranty provides additional protection for Kumho tires against damages resulting from road hazards such as potholes, sharp objects, or unexpected obstacles. If the tire suffers irreparable damage due to these hazards, it is replaced with the same model within 150 days from the date of purchase and from the same store.

2. Covered Products and Program Duration

The program applies to tires purchased during the period from 01/01/2023 to 31/12/2025 according to the invoice date. It includes complete sets of four or more Kumho tires. It does not include TBR tires, commercial tires, or competition tires. It is required that the replacement be made at the same store where the purchase was made, presenting the original invoice as proof.

3. Warranty Duration and Requirements

The warranty period is 150 days from the date of the Kumho tires purchase invoice. The original invoice must be kept and presented when making a claim. Tires must also be registered through the Kumho Saudi website and all required data entered. The warranty applies only to the original purchased tires, and coverage does not extend to tires previously replaced under the program. The standard five-year warranty remains valid to cover manufacturing or material defects.

4. How to Register a Claim

The consumer must register the tire on the Kumho Saudi website and keep the printed purchase invoice. If damage occurs within 150 days, they must go to the same retail store and present the invoice. The tire is inspected by the authorized dealer to determine if the damage is repairable or requires replacement with a new tire of the same model. The warranty does not cover balancing, alignment, or any additional service fees.

5. Excluded Cases

The program does not cover industrial, agricultural, racing, or off-road use, or damages resulting from vandalism or improper air pressure. Claims are also not accepted after more than 150 days from the date of purchase or if proof of purchase is not available. The warranty does not cover minor damages that can be safely repaired, or tires that were repaired before submitting the claim. It does not cover violations, fines, or damages to the vehicle or other parties.

6. Compensation and Replacement Mechanism

Compensation is based on the final price recorded in the purchase invoice, excluding installation, alignment, or balancing fees. The program form must be filled out via the website and a copy of the invoice attached. The tire is replaced with the same model and size mentioned in the invoice. Tires with tread wear exceeding 2/32 inch (1.6 mm) from the original tread depth are excluded from coverage. Kumho has the right to terminate or modify the program at any time.
